Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: 15 September 2026

This Cancellation Policy applies to services requested or booked through FAM Trips Tours & Safaris Limited, including safaris, tours, hikes, accommodation, airport transfers, mobility support, corporate travel, group travel and international packages.

  1. General Cancellation Rule

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing through email, WhatsApp or official communication channels. The effective cancellation date is the date FAM receives and acknowledges the cancellation request.

  1. Supplier-Dependent Cancellations

Some bookings involve third-party suppliers such as hotels, lodges, airlines, transport providers, parks, tour guides, event venues and travel partners. Their cancellation terms may apply in addition to FAM’s administrative and coordination terms.

  1. Safaris, Tours and Hikes

Cancellation charges may apply depending on park fees, guide arrangements, accommodation bookings, vehicle reservations, meals, permits and advance supplier commitments.

  1. Accommodation Bookings

Hotel, lodge, resort, camp and Airbnb cancellations are subject to the relevant accommodation provider’s cancellation terms, booking class, season, room type and notice period.

  1. Airport Transfers and Mobility Services

Airport transfers, chauffeur services, vehicle hire, group transport and mobility bookings may attract cancellation charges where a vehicle, driver, fuel, permit, route plan or waiting time has already been committed.

  1. Corporate and Group Travel

Corporate travel, school trips, NGO field missions, conferences, retreats and large-group bookings may require longer cancellation notice due to logistics, venue reservations, transport allocation and supplier commitments.

  1. International Travel

International travel cancellation terms may depend on airlines, hotels, visa processing, insurance, destination suppliers, exchange rates and non-refundable third-party charges.

  1. No-Show

Failure to appear for a confirmed service without prior cancellation may be treated as a no-show and may result in partial or full loss of amounts paid, subject to the applicable booking terms.

  1. Force Majeure

Where cancellation arises from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, insecurity, government directives, airline disruptions, road closures, health emergencies or force majeure events, FAM will work with suppliers to seek practical alternatives, rescheduling or eligible refunds where possible.
